Meet the Founder

Dr Stefano Ludovici, DVM, PgCertImag (WBIS), GPCert (SAM), MRCVS

Founder & Mobile Veterinary Ultrasonographer, VAIS

Stefano graduated with distinction in 2015 from the University of Naples and moved to the UK in 2017. He has worked in both first-opinion and referral settings, including Eastcott Referrals and Wear Referrals.
He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging (PgCertImag, WBIS) and a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine (GPCert SAM), is an EAVDI member and has trained under ECVDI specialists.

Refer a case:

Referrals can be sent via our Refer A Case form, Email or WhatsApp. Pre-visit prep information will be discussed with attending vet upon booking.

On-site scan:

All scans are performed with a state of the art portable system. All probes & consumables are provided so no kit is required from your clinic.

Just you and the patient!

Deliverables:

We supply a Same-day PDF report, images/clips for your PMS and vet-to-vet discussion.


Typical SLA:

Scans before 16:00 → report by 19:00 After 16:00 → by 10:00 next business day

Abdominal:

Diagnoses and monitors disease, localises abnormalities & guides biopsies/fluid sampling -supporting surgical planning & enabling precise, confident treatment decisions.

Thoracic:

Evaluates intrathoracic disease - pleural effusion, pneumothorax, lung consolidation, pleural masses and pulmonary oedema - delivering detailed, timely findings to support accurate diagnosis and care.

Neck:

Evaluates larynx, thyroid/parathyroid, salivary glands and cervical nodes to detect masses/cysts (incl. parathyroid nodules), diagnose endocrine disease (e.g. hyperparathyroidism), assess laryngeal paralysis and guide minimally invasive treatments (e.g., ethanol ablation).

Musculoskeletal:

Assesses tendons, joints and soft tissues - detecting tears, inflammation and calcifications and guides sampling of deep lesions (abscesses, lymph nodes, soft-tissue/skeletal masses).
